My father lives at the argyle and I am pleased with the quality of care he gets. I work with seniors and so I have seen many different assisted living facilities and I am at ease that my dad lives here. The draw to it is that it is very non medical and very cozy. My dad did not want to live where it felt like a hospital. place is short staffed right now ( like all places ) but all of the caregivers are very kind and provide great care.

My mom has attempted to get a situation handled for several days and keeps getting the run around or absolutely ZERO response from her. There are mice and bedbugs in the rooms. This place is disgusting and the manager, I believe her name is Janice is a joke! My mom has attempted to get a situation handled for several days and keeps getting the run around or absolutely ZERO response from her. There are mice and bedbugs in the rooms. My mom is helping my 96 year old great aunt because she has been screwed around an awful lot over the course of the last 3 weeks. My 96 year old aunt, was an unlucky one who somehow got them in her room. They were supposed to bring clean clothes every day and they haven't, she has had to handwash her clothing on a nightly basis. It was indicated to my mom that this "quarantine " was supposed to end earlier this past week and it wasn't. They were supposed to steam clean her carpet, the curtains, spray / disinfect the room and bring her new couch that was supposed to be ordered on Friday and nothing was done. There was a dead mouse in my aunt's room a few months ago and when she complained about it they said she was exaggerating. I am absolutely disgusted knowing that all of the residents are paying so much money for poor treatment. The treatment of several members of the greatest generation is disgusting and the staff should be ashamed.

So far so good. Have a brother living there and no complaints.they have been upgrading their facility. Love the décor very good staff.

The staff has been amazing with Dad. I have been happy with their service, they do need to have a bit better housekeeping but they are dealing with a lot of folks who want their own independence. The food is a little bland and needs diversity. If your parent smokes, they provide the space for them to do so. The décor is a little dated. Management has been understanding and helpful. Nurses help assist with showers, self care and meds. Dad's health has been consistent there. Been there 2.5 years.

Bed bug infested place that doesn't care about residents or the family of them. I would avoid this place at all costs. We will be reporting them to the state. Even the independent living side of the complex is horrible. Jeff the manager who has no problem with bed bugs needs to be fired.
