Arbors of Hop Brook was nice. The hallways were nice, and the whole facility was very, very nice compared to the other one that I saw. I like the menu. It had a lot of options for your lunch, breakfast, and dinner. One thing I didn't really like is that included in the price only one meal a day. They had a lot of activities like gardening, painting, and it looks really nice. I told them I wanted 1500 square feet, so they put two rooms together for 1700 square feet. The way they're organized is that they have independent living and assisted living in the same type of rooms. Some places have different rooms, but this one was all the same room. If you needed assisted living, they would add to the cost of care. There's also another building onsite for skilled nursing. It didn't seem like they have a lot of bus tours.

My tour at Arbors of Hop Brook was excellent. The woman that gave me the tour was very knowledgeable. She had been working there for a long time. She showed me all the rooms and all the activity rooms and the cafeteria. I was very pleased with her tour. The rooms were good. They were big. They had a mini kitchen as opposed to the full kitchen that you get through the other facility. They had an exercise area and a library.
