Sunrise Assisted Living of Wilmington

I can’t properly express the appreciation I have for the staff of memory care unit. The care given to my mother by Angie, Nadine, Dionne and all the rest of the staff was beyond exceptional. Thank you all for making a difficult time easier.

Not a pleasant experience and would never recommend Sunrise to anyone. As long as your loved one is independent everything is great. Once the health declines of your loved one Sunrise service also declines and your loved one has to leave.

Sunrise of Exton feels just like home. Everyone is treated like family and the meals taste like they came right out of your Mother or Grandmother''s kitchen. They are constantly holding activities throughout the day, the most popular being a puzzle club that is determined to finish 1 puzzle everyday...

Sunrise of Exton feels just like home. Everyone is treated like family and the meals taste like they came right out of your Mother or Grandmother''s kitchen. They are constantly holding activities throughout the day, the most popular being a puzzle club that is determined to finish 1 puzzle everyday or the "Live with Generosity" group that actively volunteers or donates to those in need. But what I really loved most was the tenure of the team members. In any business it''s rare to find to find employees that have started since the building was built, let alone 2 at Sunrise of Exton (Executive Director and Culinary member) both clocking over 20+ years of service. Not to mention, the numerous additional employees they have that have achieved 5, 10, and 15 years of service. To me that speaks volumes to Sunrise as a brand and the environment that Exton uniquely fosters. I highly recommend this community and the care they provide. 5 stars all around

When my Mom could no longer be independent and needed help, we were very lucky to find Sunrise of Wilmington. The Sunrise community became our extended family for 8 years. The leadership and staff foster a loving, caring, and exceptionally professional environment and attended to all of my mother’s needs. We were always confident in the support they offer. We will be forever grateful and thankful to the Wilmington Sunrise community for all they did for our family.

My family is very happy with the care my mother recieves at Sunrise! The staff is very dedicated and whenever we have a question or concern they always make sure it is taken care of right away. We have been impressed by the way they have handled the pandemic and made sure that the residents have been protected. The entire place is very clean and they decorate for every holiday. Making decisions about care for a loved one is never easy but I think we made the right decision with choosing Sunrise.

I will forever hold the staff at Sunrise of Wilmington close to my heart. For 7 years my wife struggled with a debilitating illness and the good folks at Sunrise always saw to both her physical and emotional needs. Always done with a smile and, very obvious, to me, with a genuine care for her welfare. I went through similar circumstances with both of my parents, and while they were well cared for, nothing will ever compare to how well the Sunrise team took care of my wife. They were a real blessing in our lives.
