American House was very nice, new, lively. But a bit too lively for my Dad, and he would not have used many of the amenities.

Seaside at Fort Myers is an incredible community. From the welcoming atmosphere to the excellent dining program. They have fitness classes, continuing education classes and wonderful nursing staff. I highly recommend checking out the community for a loved one. My aunt has been at the community for a few months and it has quickly become her home!

I didn't care for the community during the tour, due to it being to chaotic. This wasn't the right place for my loved one.

I would recommend them to other people. It's a nice place. My mother likes it here, which is what matters. She has met a lot of people, and everybody seems to be pretty friendly for the most part (aside from the few here and there). The care is pretty good, although they seem to have some turnov...

I would recommend them to other people. It's a nice place. My mother likes it here, which is what matters. She has met a lot of people, and everybody seems to be pretty friendly for the most part (aside from the few here and there). The care is pretty good, although they seem to have some turnover with the nursing staff and the aides. I think that is going on system-wide with other facilities too. The food is a little bland for her taste, but she's learned that she can ask for gravy and things like that. She enjoys playing Bingo but just wishes there were more activities, and that activity time would be used for activities, and not to sell a group trip they're trying to organize.

The community is able to assist with physical therapy, and medication management for my loved one. They provide the residents with a call button necklace they can push for assistance.
