I've had to be there frequently to advocate for my loved one and make sure things are right. They've been very cooperative; for example: they moved him to a room that's closer to the dining and activities room, as he was having difficulties traveling as far as he had to. They've been very helpful. There are always going to be a few glitches, but they have been most happy to make things right that aren't right and I've been very pleased with that.

When my Dad moved into Discovery, he said "it feels like home." That meant so much to me.

We had a very good tour at Discovery Commons Cypress Point. I felt they had a lot to offer. It was a wonderful facility - very clean and well organized. The staff were very helpful in educating us about things we didn't even know to think about. Really our decision came down to a move-in incentive at another community that we just couldn't beat.

When Cypress Point first opened the food was EXCELLENT. Once they filled the rooms, they must have changed their supplier for a lower price and the food is most times barely edible. The Staff are for the most part wonderful. They are doing the best they can for the shortage of staff everywhere. ...

When Cypress Point first opened the food was EXCELLENT. Once they filled the rooms, they must have changed their supplier for a lower price and the food is most times barely edible. The Staff are for the most part wonderful. They are doing the best they can for the shortage of staff everywhere. My BIGGEST problem is you get charged for ANYTHING extra but my statement is never CREDITED when I don't get a service i.e. weekly cleaning of the room (a joke), bed being made everyday (never), a shower consists of getting you wet and then drying you off, either not answering when the pendant is pressed or not coming back when they do come. Communication between Staff needs attention, the next shift has no idea what the prior shift was suppose to do for a patient. Pricing keeps going up but service is at a standstill
