A very clean facility. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. All my questions were answered and I felt it would be the perfect fit for my sister. Food looked delicious as my sister was a very good cook, so this meant a lot. Day time activity was in progress as they sang Xmas carol along with activity staff. The rooms were very nice and clean. The tour of the facility was very effective and enjoyable led by staff. In the community I noticed several eating places if I desired to take my sister out for a meal.

Check in and Check out is easy when we visit. There's always a staff person(s) at the front desk. Very clean. We get phone calls on any updates about Covid. Check in and Check out is easy when we visit. There's always a staff person(s) at the front desk. Very clean. We get phone calls on any updates about Covid. The office staff made us aware about VA benefits. They have always followed up on anything promised. Grand Villa in Ormond was recommended by two friends who are nurses. My mother in law (a retired Halifax Hospital nurse) has been a resident there for 18months. Our family noticed that her mental and physical health started improving within the first few months. She feels safe, and is obviously getting the care she needs.

I have had such a great time living here our Executive Director is wonderful he takes the time out to listen to us and he will sometimes just shoot the breeze with us. The staff I feel are like my friends they know me and my family. The nursing staff are very kind they will take there time out to listen to me when I am feeling sad even if it’s just about my dogs who are not here with me and will ask about how they are when I come back from seeing them and want o see pictures. I am very comfortable housekeeping makes sure my bed is made nice and my room is cozy. If I ever have maintenance problems they are right there to take care of it. I love the activities it is fun socializing and making new friends..

I had always thought that I would not like living in a community environment. The first time I walked into Grand Villa I knew this was the place I wanted to be my forever home. The food is outstanding, which is evidence by the numbers on the scale getting bigger. The entire staff is professional , courteous and friendly. They and all my new neighbors have welcomed me home.

The staff are very caring and friendly at this community. This community is nice and it is in a nice and safe neighborhood. It is close to Dr. offices and other services that the residents may also need. They have activities at this community like going on walks around the community, arts and crafts...

The staff are very caring and friendly at this community. This community is nice and it is in a nice and safe neighborhood. It is close to Dr. offices and other services that the residents may also need. They have activities at this community like going on walks around the community, arts and crafts activities. When a new resident moves in they make a shadow box and place it by the door of the new residents. My loved one also goes down for church in the community. They also have a few pet rabbits that they look after and an herb garden for the residents.
