I visited the Overture Barrett 55+ Apartment Homes and the layout is great. They have a swimming pool, which was great, and it was heated to 80 degrees. They had continental breakfast, I think Mondays through Fridays but other than that, they do not serve food except maybe on special occasions. They have a washer and dryer in their apartments. They're wheelchair accessible and both were front loaders, which was great for me. The counters were also lower in both the kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom had all of the bars so I would have felt safe there. It had large closets and the kitchen had a refrigerator. It also had a balcony. I wanted to go there but the apartment that was available was not wheelchair accessible so I had to wait. The staff was friendly and wanted to help meet your needs.

I liked Overture Barrett. I liked the staff better than another place that I toured. The apartments were nicer, and I liked the floorplan. The facility was newer, and the lobby was bigger. They had vegan snacks, which was a pleasant surprise. However, I didn't like that it was not accessible to...

I liked Overture Barrett. I liked the staff better than another place that I toured. The apartments were nicer, and I liked the floorplan. The facility was newer, and the lobby was bigger. They had vegan snacks, which was a pleasant surprise. However, I didn't like that it was not accessible to public transportation. The bus only came once an hour and did not come on Sunday at all. That was a big factor for me and ultimately the reason I did not choose them.

Our tour with Overture Barrett was wonderful. It was just TOO independent for my mom and the crowd seemed to be much younger.

I am currently at Overture Barrett 55+ Apartment Homes. It is really expensive here. One thing that me and my daughter found out was you cannot control the temperature here, they control it. I am currently at Overture Barrett 55+ Apartment Homes. It is really expensive here. One thing that me and my daughter found out was you cannot control the temperature here, they control it. Sometimes in these places, it is so cold. As a matter of fact, I'm sitting up here with a blanket over me right now because the air conditioning is so cold. The room is good though, the place is really nice, and the dining area is really clean. They have water aerobics twice a week, a workout room, yoga every morning at 11:00, a movie night, poker night, karaoke, then drinks on Wednesday evenings.

I had a tour and absolutely love Overture Barrett. Its apartments have everything I'm looking for. Seriously considering.
