I visited Magnolia Manor. It was a one-level facility, and everyone had their own little private patio. It looked like a small facility, but very nice. The dining area was relatively small. The rooms were small but adequate. The staff were very pleasant. I think for an older facility, it looked bright, clean, and very welcoming.

Magnolia Manor of St. Marys was very nice and I'm taking my friend tomorrow to let them look at it. It was very outstanding, it seems to have just about everything. Magnolia Manor of St. Marys was very nice and I'm taking my friend tomorrow to let them look at it. It was very outstanding, it seems to have just about everything. I met a couple of the staff and they're very congenial and helpful. The rooms were larger and laid out nicer than where my friend is now. They were having activity programs for the residents while we were there, which my friend's present facility does not do.

Magnolia Manor of St. Marys was on the bottom of our list because they don't allow pets. It's a small place, there weren't that many people there, and their average age was higher than other places. They are located about five miles from one town in either direction, and they take you to shopping and activities. The apartment was nice, but they had no option other than carpeting on the floor. There weren't very many people there to have activities with because they acted older, and it wasn't located in an active area. Its location was kind of remote. The staff member during the tour was very enthusiastic.

Tina gave me the tour at Magnolia Manor of St. Marys, it was excellent, and she offered to let me stay for lunch. The facility was quite small, but they have plans of enlarging and growing because they have a large property. It's close to a state park and old St. Marys, and they have a submarine base there for the US Navy. It was much more reasonable as far as cost of living expenses go, and I like this community quite a lot. Some people were quilting and drawing, and some were doing puzzles when I was there.
