The Canyons Retirement Community was a beautiful facility and it was quite new. The appearance just to the eye was very satisfying. The staff who gave me the tour was very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. The dining room was nice. I got to see the menus and it looked like it would be a great experience for the residents to be able to enjoy their meals and snacks. It's open all the time and food would be available for them at any time of the day. They would provide pretty much everything in-house. They had lots of great activities. They had indoor and outdoor activities for the residents. They also had a salon.

The community is friendly, caring, responsive, and has well maintained décor. The community is friendly, caring, responsive, and has well maintained décor. I like that the community has private rooms with really nice private bathrooms that are well designed, and has a home like feel to it. The staff are good to work with and they are willing to keep the family updated on our loved one. There is an administrative team and they are willing to work as a team to find a resolution to any concerns the family has, and answer our questions.

Our mom has enjoyed spending time with others in the facility, whereas when she was at home, she would just keep to herself and look out the window. So it has been a good environment for her to be around other people. They have a good schedule of activities if you choose to participate. She's doing well under their care under the circumstances.

Wonderful tour, didn't feel like the right fit.

The staff are great at this community. The care and the extra attention is really above what they have to provide. They go the extra step and provide that attention to my uncle. The staff are great at this community. The care and the extra attention is really above what they have to provide. They go the extra step and provide that attention to my uncle. The one thing that bothers me is that they don't take the residents anywhere. All of the other communities took their residents to different places and that is the only thing that I wish they would change. They take them to the doctor but not out for drives or to the store or anything like that.

The Canyons Retirement Community was a great facility. They were very upbeat, had quality care, good meals, really nice rooms, and nice residents who offered hellos. It was really clean and well kept. The staff was super nice, very caring, and youthful. Some of them were really young, which was nice. It's just a beautiful facility and the people were kind and they have some church services for different groups, so they don't have to go out and drive themselves to the church, which is helpful for them.
