The staff and the facility are excellent. When we moved dad to Keystone, he was furious with me but the staff at Keystone helped smooth the transition both for him and for me. He was quite old so they were very conscientious about getting him to the hospital and doctor's appointments and letting me know whenever there was the slightest change in his treatments or medication. They shared their expertise freely with me and I never worried about him. Yes, there are more expensive places he could have gone but I had to consider that he might have lived there eight or nine years. We had to think long term and Keystone was absolutely the right choice for us. I lived an hour away so even short visits took three to four hours for me. I had to be confident that he was in good hands. About two weeks before his death (at a skilled nursing facility), dad told me he wanted to get back to the "farm" as he called Keystone. Please give this place a look if you're considering assisted living. It was a good fit on so many different levels.
