My mother has been here for less than a year and the caregiving has declined. The "assisted" living part is significantly less adequate than indicated at move-in. Staff quit regularly or are fired usually without immediate replacements, so there is no regular laundry service without a special request. The food service is extremely slow, and of low quality generally. They are especially bad at preparing fish. Initially staff would throw my mother's drugs on a table for her to open and take despite the need to directly administer - unbelievable. The director does not exude any presence: I have yet to meet him, his door is usually closed, and I have no confidence that he is competent to manage the place. The residents are nice, and so are the staff when you can find them. I would keep looking and wish we did.
