I had two separate occasions in which I had family members in Peabody. First I had an uncle that had cancer that was 54 years old and ultimately the cancer made him lose his mind. He ended up needing to be kept on a secure unit because he continually tried to leave the area and couldn’t remember how to get back. Until his very last day on this Earth the peabody staff treated him with so much compassion and completely kept his dignity in tact until his last breath. It was a no brainer then when my other uncle needed inpatient care also due to cancer, that we bring him to Peabody! We were once again not disappointed!
