Traditions at Hunter Station

Poorly managed by unprofessional nursing administrators. The assisted living wellness director is rude, hardly ever responds to family concerns, wrong medicine given to my grandmother and no one did anything about it. Sometimes medicine not given at all. High nursing turn over. I wouldn’t recommend this place for a wild animal let alone your family.

My mom is new to Traditions at Hunter Station. Making a decision is hard but deciding to move during a pandemic has not been easy. The staff have been wonderful to us BOTH! Everyone has gone above and beyond to help with my mom and that is a huge relief. My mom calls me excited and tells me about her day. Has every been just great? No. But they have proved to be truly caring for her health and well being and for that I am great full for.

I love it here except for the fact that my neighbor man complains about me constantly. Says I m too loud....but I just live life .I am not loud..he manipulates the nurse manager into harassing me. I hear him in his place yelling and throwing things but I dont run and complain. I am actually afraid of him.

my dad has been here about 9 months, my only complaint is the food...it is not up to par other than that they take excellent care of my dad and that is the main thing. Staff is very caring and attentive, he is in memory care so we have many concerns about his care as he is unable to speak for himself, so far they have all been great

The facility and garden homes are beautiful. But, there seems to be a management issue. There is a very high turnover of employees. The food is terrible, hotdogs for Sunday dinner?!!! And most everything else is fried. Salads are not fresh, wilted. Portions are extremely small. If you ask for more, they charge you for a second meal. Management always promises things will be getting done to improve things for the seniors that live there, but never gets done. They’ve been told for over a year an automatic door would be installed to the dining area, and still not done. People with walkers and scooters have a hard time with that heavy door. Management has told them to use the automatic front doors, but in inclement weather, it’s not really an option. Independent living are provided with emergency pull cords. Someone from the main building will either call or come over to see if they need emergency help. My father laid on the floor for over 45 minutes before anyone came. No one even called. My mom ended up calling my sister, and she got there before anybody from Traditions did! My sister pulled that chain until someone responded, 45 minutes! Don’t let this “pretty facility” fool you!! When my parents moved out, they charged them for everything they could find as far as damages. They paid their $500 damage deposit. They tried to bill them an additional $2100! I’ve left multiple messages for the administrator to call so we could discuss, since there is nothing in their lease about this. They don’t return phone calls either!
