. Glad Sara is gone. She wasn't very nice.
We have good cooks, & it's so nice to be able to change the menu, as there are several things I can't eat. It sure means a lot to me.. Michelle is a wonderful person, so caring and very sweet. I've had lots of bosses, & she's one of the best. She always has time to chat.
. I'm glad Sara is gone or this survey would have been a lot different.
. Everyone is good except the nurse.
. I don't know where Michelle finds her nurses at. She needs to find better ones.
I really appreciate everything they do.
Make it a home like atmosphere.
Everything is new.. Better menu. Food is good but could be improved.. Would like opportunity to go to Walmart or grocery store, doing things that's going on in there. Departing to visit other ones living where our home, friends, & family. It would be nice to have a stop on room for visiting family so they shouldn't have to pay a motel. Even a roll-a-way bed would be better than nothing.
1. Create a positive environment to residents feel good about being here. 2. Hired a top-notch cook who has a great personality in addition to her cooking skills. 3. Have Holly & Amber on staff. They are excellent markers who are knowledgeable, friendly, and truly care about the resident.. 1. Pay the employees more. They work hard even though they are the lowest paid in the area. 2. Spend more money in purchasing food. The quality of the food is poor. The cook is excellent but she can't make poor quality meat, etc into good meals. 3. Have a nurse on duty 24 hours a day. 4. Add new people to work as aides, med aides, housekeepers, kitchen workers, etc.. The facility needs to provide transportation for resident needing to go to the doctor, etc. A new (UNREADABLE) needs purchased but isn't use for transporting residents!
Friendliness Clean facility
For the most part, accessibility to the nurse and administrator is excellent. There fore communication is very good.. The administrator needs to do a better and more timely return of phone calls and phone appointments.. The nurse is exceptional.
Staff seems to be genuinely interested in and friendly to residents for the most part. Some staff is exceptional in the way it interacts with residents.. The home office is terrible at processing payments. Local management has been wonderful trying to help with any issues, but the home office doesn't seem to listen. Payments have been received and cashed yet still appear as due on statements. Very irritating!!!. Overall we are very happy with Carrington.
Friendly staff!. Giving residents opportunities to get out. For example: Movies. Shopping. Drives in country side. Picnics outside/in park. Dining. Plays games. See holiday lights. See park events.
Treating each & everyone with respect. Do the best they can do with short staff.. Need to get more people fixed (possible more pay) to keep people longer. There is way to much turnover in the last year & a half! Some staff have to work 12-16 hours a day since they are short staffed!
Tend to the up-keep and management of the facilities and grounds.. Hire more and experienced staff. Better food options. A long-term cook.
. Make temps of halls & exercise better.
