This facility is beautiful. The front desk staff is super friendly. Richmond Place goes overboard to say it''s pet friendly but they do not do anything about the residents who are unkind to people who have pets. The facility offers a "referral" bonus to residents who refer someone who moves in but despite 3 referrals which resulted in a move in, the administrators have every time come up with a reason to not give the incentive (we talked to that person 7 years ago; this person knows a staff member and that''s why -even though the person who was referred stated who referred them clearly, etc.). In addition to these factors, rent was raised 8% after living here 4 months! We will see how the conversation goes and if well, I''ll be glad to update this review. The administration and management has some ways to improve and I would not feel comfortable to recommend to anyone at this time due to these factors. Its very unfortunate and unfair.

As an inspector I am in and out of so many facilities, and get to see the staff and properties in an in-depth perspective that the general public may not. That being said Richmond Place truly stands out to me. I have noticed and mentioned on the regular of how happy and comfortable everyone there including residents and staff are. In today's world a happy environment is nearly unheard of. It is a beautiful place inside and out with management that actually cares about the residents and staff which is impressive to me. It's not Florida , but a close 2nd.

My grandmother, who is in independent living, fell and broke her leg. When she pressed her emergency button no one came to her assistance. Luckily her neighbor came and found her 45 minutes later. Avoid like the plague.

I toured Richmond Place. Awesome, it's just very expensive, but it's very nice. They have a good staff, and it's very well kept up. The rooms are huge. I was very impressed with the rooms. I toured Richmond Place. Awesome, it's just very expensive, but it's very nice. They have a good staff, and it's very well kept up. The rooms are huge. I was very impressed with the rooms. I had toured a room that will be shared. It was a very nice room, very nice size, very clean. I saw the dining area, and the dining area was very, very nice. They have an outdoor area where they can, like, go outside. They got little games and stuff set up outside. They can plant flowers. They also do crafts and things like that. They have someone that comes in that actually does all the activities with them, and they have activities every day. Just the way the whole community is set up, it's very nice, the TV area where they watch TV, the dining area, their rooms, and the outdoor area, were very, very pretty.
