Mom and Dad aren't getting the care that they need at The Grande at Chesterfield. I'm not real happy with what's out there. It's under new management. They're on the third floor, memory care, and I would not recommend it. They are understaffed. They don't maintain my parents' hygiene. They don't do consistent medication. They don't keep the floor clean. I literally stuck to the dining room floors when I went there last week. My mom was put to bed on a mattress last night. They had taken the sheets off to wash and put her to bed without putting any sheets on the bed. My dad's had several falls. He needs to be in a wheelchair or have his walker, and they consistently take him out of his room for the entire day with no support. My dad has dentures and they don't take them out at night. They don't brush them. You go in and they're caked. They're understaffed, and they don't do anything about it. When they changed management, we gave them additional time. They did get rid of their agency people and hired people, but they don't do any reviews of their staff. Mom and Dad are supposed to have nighttime checks, and they don't do that. They put them to bed and you don't see anybody go in their room until the next morning. There are very good employees there, but the good employees are overworked. They'll come in in the middle of the night and take laundry out of the room and wake Mom and Dad up. It's just poor, poor care. The rooms are very spacious and very nice. The food is mediocre at best. They have a wonderful girl who runs activities for them, but basically they take all the residents out of their room and they bring them down to the activity center and then leave them there for her to take care of for the majority of the day, and one person can't do that. They do painting and physical stuff like chair dancing. The girl who does that runs an excellent program, and that was something that we were looking for. We didn't want Mom and Dad put in a wheelchair and just plopped someplace. The facilities are nice when they're clean.

They let people make TikTok’s on the clock !!! they wear the wrong shoes to work. I wouldn’t work here again. So unorganized

The food is bad I feel there cutting back on food quality care is in consistent and your in chesterfield mo. It also seems like no one is running the place . My reviews will change if the grande improves

Even with the staff being shorthanded they have continued to be so friendly and they really are trying their absolute best. They are really accommodating when it comes to the meals, they are willing to deliver the meals to our loved one or give them something different if they don't like what is being served. The rooms themselves are very nicely laid out. We thought it would be an easy transition coming from a big house - he has a bedroom, separate living space, a walk in closer and a nice kitchenette.

The facility itself is very nice, it is beautiful and clean and he really likes the food. They are using a lot of temporary agencies, that makes up about 50% of the staff. The facility itself is very nice, it is beautiful and clean and he really likes the food. They are using a lot of temporary agencies, that makes up about 50% of the staff. They do not know any of my husbands needs and they do not even know who I am when I am there everyday. They have lost so many items of ours and people have stolen food out of his room. We were told the rent would only go up a certain percentage and it went up above that percentage too so I felt I was lied to. The billing department has been awful and does not respond. I am very unhappy right now and I would not recommend them to others.
