Symhony is not setup to care for residents with Dementia. At the first sign of bad day, or a behavior issue, they will send the resident to the hospital, or will kick you out of the community altogether with no warning. It’s essentially an assisted living community with locked doors and “memory support”, so if your loved ones has dementia and is not high functioning, I would look somewhere else. The Director is Wellness is severely under qualified, and the staff has turned over several times in less than a year. Symphony’s only concern is making money, and by calling themselves an Assisted Living Community with Memory Support, they are able to charge their residents even more.
Response From Management: Good afternoon Travis, I hope your day is going well. My name is Shawn, and I work at the Milestone Support Center (located in Vancouver, WA). I first want to say thank you for taking the time to write this review. We at Milestone, take every review seriously. We regret that your experience did not meet our high standard of providing the best care possible. I have shared and have been in close contact with the community and regional leadership team. The turnover at the community is a concern, but the community is addressing it with an Employee Engagement Program. We also pride ourselves on being senior advocates. Any action that happens is in the best interests of the residents, families and community. We’d like to hear more about what happened so that we can be sure to address the situation appropriately. If you’d like, please send the community a private Facebook message with the details and your preferred form of contact (phone or email). I can then send it over to the appropriate individuals and have someone speak with you. Thank you again, Travis, and have a great rest of your day. Shawn – Digital Marketing
