My father-in-law has done well at Atria Vista Del Rio. His only complaint and his continued complaint is the food is terrible. He knows it’s not made on premise and it all tastes like very, processed food. It doesn’t taste like real food at all. He asks us to bring him Ritz crackers, peanut butter and honey on a weekly basis. So, we’re paying for meals, but he literally subsists off of peanut butter and crackers. It’s very sad because at his age, food is one of the few things he can look forward to and enjoy. But, he can’t look forward to it at Atria Vista Del Rio. I feel really bad, because he’s pretty much stuck there. I know the food quality is a problem. He reminds me of it every single day.
