I went to Cumberland Village Assisted Living. It was not warm when I went in as far as the relationship of someone coming in to visit. I would not recommend that place because it did not appeal when I first walked in. I did not meet any staff. It's just the secretary who took me around. The experience with her was very nice. She was sociable and explained things to me.

I went to tour here. I liked the fact that even though it's assisted living, they have apartment-style rooms. So you can do a studio or a 1-bedroom, and they have a kitchenette. I went to tour here. I liked the fact that even though it's assisted living, they have apartment-style rooms. So you can do a studio or a 1-bedroom, and they have a kitchenette. It's very clean, very nice, and very warm. The staff who gave the tour was very nice, professional, and courteous. They had a barber or beauty salon, and they also have an in-house theater and restaurant-style dining. The place itself was very clean. We haven't eaten there but what we looked at was very appetizing.

Cumberland Village Assisted Living was OK. It was a little bit older. When I was walking down the hallways, it stunk like the odor of urine, but overall, the people were very friendly. They were helpful as far as showing me to the facility and everything. Even the residents themselves were friendly as well. They basically assisted me right then and there. They stopped doing what they were doing, and they answered my questions. They also had a library if they wanted to sit down and read books, some lounges, too. They looked disorganized though, but overall it was good.

My sister has been there for two years now. I am in upstate NY and they are always keeping me informed. She did get COVID-19 but I called everyday to check on her and they were always ready to take the time to talk to me about how she was doing. She is very happy there and tells me they are good to...

My sister has been there for two years now. I am in upstate NY and they are always keeping me informed. She did get COVID-19 but I called everyday to check on her and they were always ready to take the time to talk to me about how she was doing. She is very happy there and tells me they are good to her and that their food is very good! They have been doing a lot of repairs and up dates on the building too. They had carpet in there and have wood floors now. They have painted the rooms. They are trying very hard to get things up dated. I haven’t had a lot of issues but if there was something it was taking care immediately after I called. I am pleased and they are very good my sister.

I would not recommend this place to anyone ever 1. The place is dirty, they don’t clean properly especially the bathrooms and the rooms 2. They place needs serious upgrades. Tiles are missing in rooms, ac’s don’t work, water doesn’t work in some rooms. Bathrooms don’t work. Rooms are dirty and they have roaches 3. Most of the food is canned or processed. It is not healthy for cardiac or diabetic people 4. Need more staff. Med techs and aids sometimes are working alone for entire shift. The cleaners sit on their butts most of the day or hide to keep from working 5. Transportation is a joke. You can’t make your own appointments. You don’t lol get taken to appointments. They don’t make appointments that you ask for Have more to say but that’s enough to make you think about it. Completely the truth. Come check it out

Great community. The new administration is wonderful and the staff is a terrific team. It's not a fancy place but you can tell the people that live there are loved and cared for. Highly recommend!
