The Wellington at Dayton was a very large place. When we first went in, the receiving area was nice and clean. There wasn't any problem there. They had activities. They do bingo, they have a card night, game night, and people that come in playing music. We chose not to take the room, because it overlooked the roof of all the air conditioning units and everything. It didn't have a view at all. The lady who took us through was very nice. She explained everything to us and showed us all the places like the dining room, the game room, and different things. They also had a beauty parlor for the seniors. The facility was clean. We just didn't particularly like the layout, but it's nice. It's just not our preference.

We liked our tour of The Wellington at Dayton's independent living. I met with Carrie, she was the sales director, she's very pleasant and nice. She answered all my questions, we went on the tour and I talked to other residents. She showed me two different floor plans for independent living and they were beautiful, they have a full-size washer and dryer, and a full-size kitchen. She ended up taking me down to the cafeteria, and everybody that was in there looked happy. I asked her if the food was good and she said yes, and that she would allow my parents to have lunch or dinner, depending on when they toured. It was clean and it smelled nice. There were security updates, which I like. I wish I could live there, it's well-maintained and beautiful.

I went to The Wellington at Dayton. They were very helpful there. I really liked it. I would have put my mother-in-law there if I felt that they had the facility as far as what she needs. I'm not sure it's a good match care-wise. I think she needs a higher level of care than what they were able to offer. They check in with me to see where we are on the whole thing. It was a little bit older and more practical than fancy.

We really like the décor and the updated look and feel of the community. We really like the wide variety of the secondary meals and options the residents have. However just like everyone else right now the staffing is chaotic - somethings that are expected to get done sometimes does not always happ...

We have been very happy with the community and based on our experience so far we would recommend them to other families. We have been very happy with the community and based on our experience so far we would recommend them to other families. From what we have seen of the meals and dining service that all seems to be great. We toured many other communities and even though sometimes The Wellington repeats some of the same activities they had the most we had seen. We live out of state so when we call to check on our loved one the nurses station always answers and finds our loved one so we can check in with them.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a great tour experience it was a top choice
