Someone elderly and very close to me stayed there for a about 4 mos. she was not cared for properly and was mistreated at times... please read all of my review and find another place to put your loved ones in, anyone you love or care for deserves better care! They gave her someone else's medicine one day! Some of the other problems we had was them not treating her Uti Infections at times for long periods of time and we would have to stay on them about it constantly. They left my weak sick elderly loved one in a wheelchair for hours one day without checking on her and she was left in the bathroom for around 2 hrs.on the toilet both incidents caused her to have aches and pains. They were understaffed and wouldn't check on her for hours at at time and she missed a couple of Dr. appointments due to their transportation showing up late or not at all. A couple of nurses wouldn't take her to the bathroom at times, and complained about her frequently having to go she took water pills but she would sometimes go on herself when they wouldn't take her and we had a hard time getting them to shower her when they said they would. She also developed a Serious Uti Infection while there that was contagious the nurses were supposed to clean the toilets after she used them, some nurses would clean it and others would not one nurse telling the person I know that stayed there she'd better not tell anyone that she didn't clean that toilet after she used it and that she would get into trouble if they found out! The same nurse wouldn't take her blood pressure before she gave her the blood pressure medicine like they was supposed to until I told another nurse on her and she got on her about it. Some of her clothes came up missing while she stayed there as well. I also observed them give her elderly roommate water one day when she was supposed to be on a thickened liquid diet due to swallowing issues but they gave her straight water which made her get choked badly, I was there! My loved one as had been on a thickened liquid diet at one point while staying there and they said if she drank water it would choke her and could get in her lungs and possibly give her pneumonia and kill her. They also kicked my loved one out of physical and occupational therapy because she was sick throwing up with diarrhea one night and didn't feel well enough to go that next morning and when they did take her down sometimes they would try to take her down for physical or occupational therapy to early around 7 or 8 am! I told them that was too early and put a stop to it! My Loved one stayed at this place but we got her out of there eventually It was not a good experience. Please consider some other place than this to put your loved one in this in not the place for someone you love! ****Response to Business Owner's Response****The Administrator your talking about me contacting was of no help to us and she actually took up for the one of the nurses when the ex resident's husband complained to her about how that nurse was treating our loved one.
