My husband and I moved to Cape May two years ago. At the time we were 60 and 70 years old. Most of our family and friends thought we were making the move too soon. I can honestly say the move was made at just the right time. The first year we met several neighbors who became great friends. We got involved in activites as soon as they started back up after COVID. We were happy with our decision to move but hadn''t experienced the full benefits of living at Cape May until the following year. My husband had total knee replacement surgery followed by complications and a second surgery a few weeks later. Living in a one floor villa with everything handicap accessable was a huge blessing. My husband received physical therapy right here on campus, another blessing. The physical therapists were fantastic and my husband reached all the goals his surgeon had for him. Cape May is not just a place to live, it''s a community of caring people and we are so thankful to call it home.

We enjoy Cape May very much. The folks that work here are very friendly and very helpful. The folks that live here are very friendly and fun to be around. We feel blessed to have been approached to take a visit to here at Cape May. Timing worked out perfectly and it surely must been a God Thing!...

Was hesitant about coming here, because the Ohio living in Sidney is a nightmare, but this facility is GORGEOUS and I loved it.

5 Stars. Spent time in rehab last year. Clearly the best. We have more friends here than anyplace we''ve lived in 7 States. As a retired NHA, and administrator and developer of at least 8 Continuing Care Retirement Homes, I can understand that there will always be a few problems - but Cape May do...

As a retired NHA, and administrator and developer of at least 8 Continuing Care Retirement Homes, I can understand that there will always be a few problems - but Cape May does it''s best to resolve any problems.

Our father had been in long term care at Cape May for 8 months, leaving there today Feb 26, 2021.. Dad was there due to limitations from Parkinson’s and dementia. Dads condition was known upon his being admitted. They advertise that they can handle these conditions. Starting in November, the Director, the Director of Nursing and others who oversee his care have been on a mission to have him “dumped” from Cape May. They even had him evaluated as an outpatient at a mental facility who advised us that dumping was illegal and they had the impression that was what was taking place. Cape May had told them and us they did not want him back. We would caution anyone looking to place their parent here to be aware that if you don’t fit into their idea of a care plan they will look for reasons to get rid of you or place restrictions that cannot be met. They placed unreasonable rules (ie we were to pay for an additional aide to be with him 24 hrs at a cost of approx $2000 per week) even though we already pay nearly $9000 a month. We will say there are SOME good people working and caring for the residents. And fortunately the weakest link’s last day was also today so maybe things will improve.
