My mother lives in this community. First there is no medication management. They used to get blood pressure checks but that went away years ago. Food is horrible and they have to pick up their dinner at 3:00 in the afternoon. It’s not good by dinner time. There hasn’t been housekeeping in many months other than an occasional temp. Every phone call with my mom is listening to her complain! Rent went up $100 a month and less amenities all the time.

Apartments are roomy and the best thing about Silver Elm. We were hoping with new owners to see improvements but there is still rarely housekeeping and then it’s temps who do lousy jobs. Apartments are roomy and the best thing about Silver Elm. We were hoping with new owners to see improvements but there is still rarely housekeeping and then it’s temps who do lousy jobs. The food is horrible and the residents have complained for years and nothing changes. No activities for residents this past Christmas is ridiculous. The staff had a nice party for themselves! Rent went up $100 a month for less than they have ever had!!

The Silver Elm Estates of Edmond's independent living was alright. The staff showed us a room and it was fine but we're not so sure about the location so we're still looking. The girl that gave us the tour was also fine but she was leaving and that was her last day so I guess a review of her wouldn'...

The Silver Elm Estates of Edmond's independent living was alright. The staff showed us a room and it was fine but we're not so sure about the location so we're still looking. The girl that gave us the tour was also fine but she was leaving and that was her last day so I guess a review of her wouldn't be of any help to the people. She said a new company had bought the facility so she was leaving. They provide everything including food and activities so it was fine as far as the activities go. They offer transportation, food, and activities. She said they had a lot of activities there. The place was nice. It's right off the street so there's not a lot of activities to do outside. All we saw was the apartment and it was not furnished, it was empty.

The food service here is very bad, Poor nutrition, do not get what you order very bad food prep and delivery. Have complained as have others numerous times to no avail. It just gets worse. I would like to move if i can find independent living with no buy in and preferable a cottage.

Water pipe broke at 1pm [date removed]. No plumber until after 6pm. No maintenance person or management showed up. No water brought in. Seniors do use the bathroom often, no way to flush. A very stressful day and the lack of meaningful management only added to the problems. Water was turned on...

I would recommend to others to move in. The value for your money, can't be beat. The community is all on one level. All apartments have two doors-one to the hallway and the other to the outside. There are washer and dryer in every apartments. The yards are well maintained.
