The Blake at Carnes Crossroads

The community was more expensive than we wanted. It had a locked memory care unit, and it didn't have a homey feel to it.

If your loved one is higher function with their memory loss this is not the place for them, the staff members are very interactive with the residents. For the loved ones who doesn't really know what is going on and who are non verbal this could be fine.

The Blake is a beautiful community! The staff is so friendly and takes great care of the residents. Their activity directors bring so much fun and joy to the residents who live there. Look on their Facebook page to see smiling faces all around!

Our tour with The Blake was great! The facility is beautiful and they were so informative about the VA which was very helpful to us.

I love Mary Bethany, I met her when my mother in law went to assisted living. She helped us get thru a tough time with my mother in law’s dementia. She was very caring and helped with communication and up dates during covid lock down. Mary Bethany is very creative and came up with great and fun activities to entertain the residents during this tough time. I was always excited to see what she came up with next. I have nothing but praise for her. We have only communicated thru texts and the phone , but I feel like we are friends , that’s how caring and comfortable she makes you feel. 😊 My mother in law passed away in November, and I still keep in touch with Mary Bethany, she’s a great person.
