I went to Fairmont Grand Senior Living. I like it because it's smaller. The distance from the rooms to the dining hall was short because sometimes the elderly people are not able to go as far, with their walkers. It was just a nice facility, and the staff seemed very nice. I like the rooms. They were decent-sized, you didn't feel like you were in a little tiny shoe box. I like the facility. It would have been my choice if they could have worked it out.

I went to Fairmont Grand Senior Living. I did not care for it. It just wasn't the right place for my mom. The staff was very nice. I believe they have activities and some amenities. The studio apartments didn't have their own shower, so there was a big bathroom area with shower and tub. It just wasn't going to work for my mom to have to go down the hall and shower. Some of the rooms have individual showers, but not all of them. It looks very tired, even though they had just done carpet and paint. It's just an older facility.

Horribly mismanaged. Staff turnover high and those there try but it’s obvious understaffed. Poor communication with families. Need to get family out. Level of care over the years continues to diminish.

The staff was very welcoming. Felt very much like “welcome to our home” . The inter-action between staff and residents seemed very caring and friendly. Nice place! Not new but clean and home feeling.
