The overall value is worth it when it comes to everything this community is offering. Our loved one absolutely loves the meals and the dining experience has been very good. Our loved one has her own table which she enjoys but it also has enough room for friends and family to visit and eat meals with. The workers especially the nurses are very friendly and nice. The day to day staff are so friendly that has really just stood out to us from the beginning. They have plenty of different activities going on daily and we would definitely recommend this community to other families

I toured The Hearth at Hendersonville; the fact that it was furnished was a downside back then, but that turned out to be a plus. I didn't know how my mom would react going into that. The cost was a little more, and their private room was a little small compared to the community we chose. The director was wonderful; she's even reached out to say hello and check in without a hard sale. She seemed very caring and great. They had a huge amount of activities, I really really did like it. If I knew then what I know now, I would have chose The Hearth because it would have been a much better fit for my mom.

We toured The Hearth at Hendersonville. The common quarters were quite nice. The apartment itself (for a one-bedroom) was tiny. As far as the living area was concerned, it was fine. In the bedroom, you couldn't put a king-sized bed in there to save your soul. I realize most people go in there as singles, but my husband and I are going to be going with both of us and two dogs that sleep with us. We're used to a king-sized bed, and there would be no way we could do that in there. I didn't like the size of the apartment. The staff seemed fine. We only met a couple of people there, the one that did the tour and the receptionist. Right now, they're getting ready to do a remodel, though. In terms of activities, it looked like they had a lot going on. When we were there, they were just doing manicures. We didn't go by there where they were. They don't have a lot going on Saturdays and Sundays; it's just during the week.

Typical tour. It was what we expected. This was our number 1 option until we found New Hope Senior Living.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice tour but we did not like how the memory care part was separated from the assisted living part

The Hearth at Hendersonville is excellent. The staff provides excellent care to my mom and they're very attentive to her. They have bingo, trivia, and she likes the theater that they have there, and their dining room. They also keep her room very clean. They empty the trash every day and they do well with that. I've eaten with her twice already and the food was good. They've got choices. The residents are really helpful when someone new comes in. They all reach out to make that person feel very comfortable. They're very kind and I appreciate that so much.
