My mother is in the Royal Estates of El Paso. The experience has been wonderful so far. They're very attentive and very caring. It's a very beautiful building. As you walk in, you can feel the warmth and the happiness of the building. The food is good. I already had dinner there with her, and she has been very happy with the food. She's been there for three days, so they're getting to know her and they're helping her. The building itself is very clean, and they're following her schedule. They have activities for them. They have a shuttle to take them to their doctors' appointments. They have days where they will take them to get groceries. They have certain days of the month when there are some outings, they'll go to the movies, or they'll just go out for dinner. They are very attentive to my mother. Her main language is Spanish and she speaks English as well. She prefers Spanish and the whole staff is bilingual, so that's a big plus. If she doesn't like what they're having for the day, they have an optional menu and she could select something from that menu. They have plenty of options for them. Everything is working. It's updated. We haven't participated in the activities, but looking at the calendar that they've already given to her for the upcoming activities, they have been busy and it varies.

They offered food, but we didn't have the time. They showed us a chapel, a TV room, a guest room, a laundry room, and an exercise room. They had an outdoor patio. The apartments were clean and spacious.

The staff member who gave the tour showed me one room, which was very nice, very clean, and very organized. We also saw the dining area through the window, it was also nice and quiet. I think it's a nice place for someone that needs to be taken care of.

My daughter and I toured the independent living side of Royal Estates of El Paso. It was roomy and large enough, and that was one of the big things about it. It was easy to access via driving too. The people were very friendly and helpful there. The lady that takes care of new people coming in was very helpful, and I think she did a great job touring us. They have bingo and different game nights. Bobbie, the person who assisted us, gave a very thorough tour. After we were done with it, we came home and my daughter and I talked and had a few questions, which we texted to Bobbie and she got back to us promptly with all the answers. We had lunch there and it was very good. It was like dining in a restaurant. The meal was very good, the waitress took care of us, and she was very knowledgeable. I was impressed with the whole facility and I can't say enough about the tour we had there. One of the things I noticed about this senior facility is that within walking distance of it, we found a senior citizens center, a swimming pool, a baseball diamond, and a park. I thought that was a real plus for the area.

I would hesitate to recommend Royal Estates of El Paso. I don't believe they provided the care to necessary for my loved one. I don't think they had enough staff to provide the care either. I would hesitate to recommend Royal Estates of El Paso. I don't believe they provided the care to necessary for my loved one. I don't think they had enough staff to provide the care either. They painted a pretty picture during the tour, and made promises that didn't come true. The nurse of staff was very kind and caring; however, she stated that there was a scheduling mix up and it would be looked at. However, it was never truly address to fix the issue at hand with the care.
