Beacon Crest Senior Living was gorgeous. The rooms were lovely because even the most inexpensive room had two separations between the bedroom and the living room with a full-size fridge in it. I didn't like the layout of the rooms because the bathrooms were over by the living kitchen area, so my husband would have to come out of his bedroom and around to the bathroom, which to me is not convenient for someone that's having a hard time getting around, especially at night. They had 3 full-time chefs that were on and they would cook all the meals in front of them and they were in there cooking all day long. The atmosphere of the place was fabulous. They had someone there all day every day playing music, which is great. I just felt that the staff who gave me the tour was pushy.

It's a beautiful facility. because it's a small community compared to others, the residents know each other. They are kind of a family. They also know the staff and feel familiar with them. The food is excellent. They plan a lot of family activities, some geared for children. They are always well done. The activities and outings are well planned. We just had a family thanksgiving luncheon that was very nice.

They had a relatively high number of CNAs to work with the residents there. They have a salon, a theater room, and an exercise room.

Mom could no longer live alone after our Father suddenly passed away. Family tried living with Mom for almost a year but Mom was annoyed that someone was there all the time. Mom wanted some independence! We looked at several assisted living homes but nothing seemed right. We visited Beacon Crest and realized that we had found Mom's new home! We reserved an apartment on our first visit. She loves her apartment and loves her independence! The staff is kind, knowledgable, and caring. The meals are fantastic and we've eaten with her many times. Beacon Crest has fun activities every day that Mom can choose to go to when she wants. We communicate with the staff about Mom whenever we have concerns, whether it's about her health or just making sure she remembers to go to meals and activities. We recommend Beacon Crest! It's been great for Mom. She has more independence but we know that she is well taken care of and safe! Win Win!!!

They take great care of my mom. They are quick to respond to our texts and calls. The food is fresh and delicious made by their own chefs. The activities are fun. Our family loves to visit. Mom is as happy as she can be.
