We were not the biggest fan of the location. You walk in and it is absolutely beautiful, they have a big grand entrance. But immediately what we saw was a lot of residents in wheelchairs. The assisted living and independent living residents are mixed so it just has a whole different feel to it and that is not what my mom was looking for.

I really liked Bentley Commons, we had a good tour experience. The reason we did not choose them was due to the proximity and they had add on fees here so we would not know what we are paying each month.

The gal who gave us the tour was great. When I walked in I did get a faded, old resort feel from the facility.

While she was in her bedroom changing her clothing before I arrived to pick her up an employee named Hunter walked into her apartment, through her kitchen and down the hallway into her bedroom all without notifying her of his presence. My mother lives at Bentley Commons Independent Living. While she was in her bedroom changing her clothing before I arrived to pick her up an employee named Hunter walked into her apartment, through her kitchen and down the hallway into her bedroom all without notifying her of his presence. My mother is mortified. She’s afraid of staying there when any employee can walk into her private living space any time day or night without just cause. Hunter is a very large person 250-300lbs, long greasy hair,. He is not someone you want sneaking up behind your mother. We are extremely disappointed with Bentley Commons .

I’ve worked here over the years and seen a decline in the care the residents receive. The food is awful, to small portion sizes, the kitchen is not supplied enough to adequately give the residents the quality of food they should have. Often times employees are sitting around talking or out smoking...

I’ve worked here over the years and seen a decline in the care the residents receive. The food is awful, to small portion sizes, the kitchen is not supplied enough to adequately give the residents the quality of food they should have. Often times employees are sitting around talking or out smoking when really they should be working. I have my concerns with this place.
