If you have an elderly family member PLEASE do not send them here! COVID or not, this place has been a consistent disappointment. Staff member being disrespectful, condescending and speaking negatively to my elderly mother. Not following their own guidelines of 2 showers a week! Losing half of her clothes! Not following doctors orders of checking/cleaning & changing soft wrap on a repaired broken leg! The result of which lead to a pressure ulcer on the foot of the broken leg. Overall simply NOT DOING THEIR JOB!! Save yourself and your loved one the anguish and BS this place has to offer. Signed a concerned son

Wittenberg Village is an excellent facility. Actually, it's not a facility, it's like a village, and they age in place. You can go into a home or a villa home, to the assisted gardens, the price is reasonable, it's clean, and it's nice too. It' a total age in place, it's reasonable, clean, and nice....

Wittenberg Village is an excellent facility. Actually, it's not a facility, it's like a village, and they age in place. You can go into a home or a villa home, to the assisted gardens, the price is reasonable, it's clean, and it's nice too. It' a total age in place, it's reasonable, clean, and nice. The staff that helped me out during my visit was very knowledgeable and very friendly. There's social distancing going on, so it's not like you can roam all over the place. They have a fitness room that I saw, they have their activities, they have the transportation like the other places do. Things are just starting to reopen up.

My dad was here for a couple months. The communication to family members is probably the worst I have experienced. I remember the night he got checked in, that was the rudest nurse I have ever met in my life. When I tried to give her the correct contact info she got huffy and had quite the attitude. She said I wasn’t on the contact list from the hospital. I was the PRIMARY contact at the hospital. She just didn’t want to listen to me. I guess it really didn’t matter whose contact information they had because they obviously didn’t use it anyways. I’m not even sure if anyone even bothered reading his medical history. The only reason why I say that is because when I questioned certain things your nurse practitioners acted like I had no idea what I was talking about. He was transferred to another facility and the records and medications sent over were incomplete, which would have probably been the responsibility of the case worker to follow through with. When I asked the new facility about tests and medications they said there was no record of it from you. That means I was lied to from your staff. I don''t like being lied to. I understand he has medical conditions but I don’t feel like he received top notch care. I think this is most upsetting to me because I’m a DVM and honestly I think we treat our animals better than how humans are being treated. I gave you two stars because some of the aids and nurses were very compassionate and I feel did a good job. Communication wise, you need improvement. Especially to family members.
