Initially I was delighted with the two staff members assigned to handle my care. Then I suddenly had to have emergency surgery. I was in the hospital for nine days. When I returned home, I was surprised to no longer have the same caregivers. Instead, I was assigned a different person each day. In fact, one of them was on her very first day on the job, period. I had had no warning that I would no longer have the same caregivers. If I had known, I would have gladly covered the costs out of pocket to keep the experienced folks that I had in place. Instead, the poor new people, a different one each day, were dumped into my job with no specific training to my needs. The quality of my care went to heck. The supervisor, to whom I had complained bitterly about the unexpected change of personnel and the fact that I had not been warned in advance, told me they would no longer provide care for me. She said that none of the staff would work with me anymore! I was surprised at that. I went into their binder where the staff on duty records the day’s experiences. There was not one negative report! This, after supervisor Amy told me that all had refused to work with me! This turned out to be a very negative experience for me and I still don’t know the truth behind their terminating their service. I surely could not recommend this company to anyone else. I loved the first two ladies who worked with me for several months. I would take them back in a minute! It was the management of the service that was incompetent and unsatisfactory. I suspect I was not being told the truth about the caregivers refusing to work with me.
