I was a client of RAH for over 4 years after relocating to Las Vegas from the MidWest. At the time, there were Former Owners. When I relocated to Henderson, they opted to keep me as a client. I was very pleased with my services 35 hours weekly until the business was sold and after that, when my caregiver was sick or on vacation, it was a nightmare getting someone here. They will say I refused help, but the truth is I told them I'd be ok for a day, knowing they would have to look for someone. The owner was extremely rude when I told him I was leaving and I recently found out that he really gave her grief about my leaving. It had nothing to do with her, If had enough and had been looking for alternative care for a couple of months. I am with a new agency and it's so refreshing to not have the stress. I know I always will have care and I can speak to the owner and she treats me well. I'm.not being treated like a " disabled old lady" by the owners. I always have 4 star ratings to RAH because I didn't want to be harassed by the office. There are better agencies....it shouldn't be so difficult.
