I visited the facility and you can tell a lot about a facility by how you are welcomed when you walk through the doors. Carole at the front desk was wonderful. The facility looked clean and smelled great. I would recommend anyone looking for a facility to check out Windsor Health.

This place is a disaster that must be avoided above any other “skilled nursing facility”. I was rushed here after a bed opened up while I was in the neurology unit and rushed out the door before I had a chance to do any homework around 4 pm. I am an extremely complex patient with multiple health problems and medications that I receive around the clock. This facility completely ignored my need for medications and told me that I needed to wait until the next day when the doctor was available. The few medications that they did give me were a fraction of the prescribed dose that I have been on for years claiming that was all the doctor approved. My 7 hour stay ended when I began to vomit uncontrollably and pulled the cord bottom from the bathroom for help. No one showed up after 30 minutes. I am partially paralyzed on my left and had to drag myself back to bed using my good leg and arm along the floor. They also did not answer their call button from the bed either after I tried calling for help. The evening concluded when I realized no one was going to help me, and I called 911 to receive help and get out of that facility. While on the phone with EMS, the dispatcher told me to walk out in the hallway to ask for help. I explained that I was partially paralyzed and cannot walk. The dispatcher then listened to me scream help as loud as I could multiple times.and no one from the facility bothered to check. EMS finally arrived to bring me back to the hospital ER where I had been discharged earlier in the day. At that time, EMS also informed me that that was known as one of the worst in the state,,and complaints are lodged often. It was a traumatizing experience, and even being partially paralyzed and unable to walk, I would rather stumble around my home without any help than allow myself to be placed in a skilled nursing facility again. Please do your homework and thoroughly investigate any type of skilled nursing facility before allowing yourself or your loved ones to be placed somewhere. I am fortunate that I am verbal and able to state my complaints to the governing boards for mistreatment of residents, older individuals may not be as capable.

She was in agony instead of calling an on-call doctor or making the slightest attempt for a solution, she was told "you have Tylenol". She hasn...

Brought my father here after he had back surgery. I was thrilled at how attentive and kind the staff were to him and I’m glad to say he made a full recovery and was able to home in about 6 weeks. He loved the food and really enjoyed the stay. Thank you everyone at Windsor!

Really disappointed. When this was a kindred care facility it was excellent. I run an ED which they don''t know. They are argumentative, they know very little, it''s a nightmare patient scenario.
