FIRST OFF I WOULDN’T EVEN GIVE THEM ONE star ! IF you TRULY love & value your loved one DO NOT Let them come here . The staff are liars. I came to see my loved one and I evaluated them myself I noticed that something was off , informed the staff about it and then they decided to run a test !, what would have happened if I wouldn’t have checked my loved one out ? Would it just have went unnoticed ?The answer is yes it would !! ( that’s only a PIECE Of the neglect that happened here ) THEY DONT DO THERE JOBS THEY DO THE BARE MINIMUM & The only concern is about senses being down and NOT THE QUALITY CARE of patients. I beg you don’t leave your family ,friend or loved Ones here! ( look else where ) there’s nothing but horror stories waiting to happen here .

I am an employee here at Baya Pointe. This is the best place I have ever worked. My coworkers are like family to me. The residents are delightful to care for, sure I have my favorites but I love them all. If i was in need of care for my loved one I would gladly bring them here.

I have been employed over ten years at Baya Pointe Nursing Rehab Center. When I first come to Baya Pointe it was family atmosphere everyone worked together as a team. We went through multiple companies and leaders leading the center. There have been lots of changes it was like a revolving door for leadership for a few years. I have to say through all the changes and challenges we have faced in the past year it is turning around and becoming more like the family atmosphere that drew me in years ago. There is no person no matter what your position any different from the other. We all are working here for Our Patients we all Love what we do in their daily lives to make their lives better. I love the team I work with every day we pull together and get what needs to get done completed. I myself work a lot with the physicians and have a good work relationship with them!!! My favorite thing about coming is my long term patients that have been there that is their home when they see me coming the hall I’m the mornings they say Good Morning Sunshine !!!! That In itself reminds me why I work there the smile I bring to their faces and the waiting in their doors ways to tell me to have a good night on my way out. That makes all the difference in the world to me that I put that smile on their face and made their day just a little brighter!

Baya Pointe has the best therapy department I''ve worked with at any nursing home in northwest Florida and I''ve done PRN/full-time work all over at various nursing homes since 2006. As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Baya Pointe for 2 years now, I can truly say that the team work, compassion, motivation, knowledge and skill level in this department as a whole has surpassed any other I''ve seen. The director of rehab and the scheduler go above and beyond at helping their team in all necessary areas while making the residents their number one priority. I can honestly say that we are a TEAM that pulls together and strives to put the patient''s care and patient outcomes first so that they can get to their highest functional level in hopes for a safe return home after a hospital stay. The residents who reside at Baya Pointe are more like family than residents to us. The residents come in the therapy department to socialize and hangout when they are off therapy because it is such a welcoming environment and it makes their day! I love working at Baya Pointe.
