The DON Vanessa and Nicole are liars, I worked for an agency and they made up lies about me that costed me my job especially since I am pregnant!! They couldn’t come up and talk to me about how they felt about my work instead they took it up with the main boss that didn’t even give me a chance....

Almost everything about Avamere Rehabilitation at Fiesta Park increased our stress as family caregivers. It''s hard to imagine what kind of patient would be successful here, but they''d certainly need to be, or have locally, a fierce advocate for their care. This facility won''t provide anything that you don''t absolutely claw out of their system''s hands, and we removed our family member "early" rather than wait for things to improve. On an individual level, many caring staff are doing the very very best they can and we enjoyed working with them (shout out to Lauren, Alexis, Nick, and Vickie...); on an institutional level, Avamere is not setting any of them, or their patients, up for success: understaffing, pitiful communication structure, poor attention to detail, low availability for some types of care (delivered by subcontractors), and a comically bad food plan. We had high hopes from the nice building (including a great gym for PT/OT and a private room for our family member) but those hopes weren''t realized. The bulk of my review of this facility will go into an official complaint, but highlights include: 1. Truly awful food. Our family member stopped eating entirely. Hydration also neglected. 2. Two falls in 24 hours and evidence of at least one more (from dated wound coverings on our family member) that staff said nothing about. 3. We received another patient''s clothing - name in it and everything - and lost some of our patient''s clothing on dismissal. Cell phone nearly lost on dismissal but for us calling it and it being found in stripped bed linens. 4. Two necessary medications completely omitted on dismissal; an additional medication included with no instructions; and a third sent in inadequate quantity to complete a taper-down (though no explicit instructions for taper down were given). 5. Absolutely unprofessional communication. Family member moved at least once with no notice to family, no care reports delivered proactively, falls not reported...and no phone extension system for direct dial as well as no voicemail system to leave messages and some staff have no office phones. Completely ridiculous in 2022 that the care team is set up to be intentionally unreachable.

Just had a RUDE FEMALE tech walk out on me because I complained that the meds were late by an hour and that she was not giving me my right meds and saying to me she doesn''...
